I have been using the Noori Girl and a GOAT moisturizer for a few weeks now and the texture is very lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue which is important for acne prone skin. It doesn't cause any breakouts or irritation and the fragrance free formula is gentle enough for daily use morning and night. The ingredient list is clean with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide which are solid actives for a teen moisturizer without any unnecessary additives.The airless pump keeps the formula fresh and dispenses cleanly without waste during regular use. The branding is appealing enough that it actually motivates sticking to a daily routine which is half the battle with teen skincare.The downside is the upright pump design makes it hard to get the last bit of product out toward the end of the bottle without taking it apart. At this price for the size it is on the steeper side for a teen moisturizer but the clean ingredient list and gentle formula make it worth it for sensitive or acne prone skin. Good option if you want a lightweight daily moisturizer that won't cause breakouts and is gentle enough for younger skin.

Bought this for a 13 year old who has dried out her skin with “trendy” products that are too much for young skin. This cream is perfect for balancing the skin especially after removing make-up. Not only has her skin recovered from the dry patches she looks radiant. I decided to give it a try and love the texture and feel on my skin. I highly recommend!

I am not a teenager, but I do have some pretty bad skin--or at least I did before FINALLY seeing a dermatologist at age 35. I still need good quality skincare products not only to help maintain my complexion, but to moisturize, especially as I get deeper into my 40s. For much of my life, moisture meant breakouts, which is a tough mentality to break.That being said, this is a GREAT product for maintaining moisturized skin while not irritating it or causing breakouts. It isn't heavy and can be layered under sun screen, which is the most important element of my skincare routine. I'm sensitive to fragrances, so it really helps that this doesn't have a strong, overpowering scent that will irritate and make me nauseous throughout the day.This is a great product for any age, in my opinion, and I highly recommend it!

The branding is also really fun, which actually motivates them to take care of their skin morning and night. The ingredients seem clean and the fragrance is pleasant.

My 8-year-old grandniece wanted skin care for her birthday. Once I recovered from that news (I’m old, okay?), I settled on this Girl and a Goat moisturizer, partly because I liked the name, but also because it seemed like a safe bet for one so young. Not long afterward, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to try it for myself. What I like: it’s a very simple formula with no scent but some good ingredients (niacinamide, hyaluronIc acid) that should be gentle on hormonal teen skin. It feels surprisingly emollient to me, more than I expected for such young skin. It’s nice that the jar dispenses a measured dose in a sanitary way. What I’m less thrilled with: the jar seems cheap for the price, and it arrived in a box that had been knocked about and torn. I hope that wasn’t the case for the jar I sent my grandniece for her birthday. But mostly, I don’t really find this a very good value, at least not for me. It’s very expensive for a product that contains no specialized active ingredients (niacinamide and HA are drugstore ingredients), and while I can see that this is part of its appeal, I don’t understand why we should pay more for it. I can see its value for preserving and restoring skin barrier, but Cerave has performed those functions admirably for me, with similar ingredients, for a much lower price. It seems to me that the point of this product is a marketing one more so than a functional one. I didn’t mind buying it for my grandniece (once!), but I won’t buy it for her again, nor for myself.
